Such areas we pick up from include – Birmingham, Leeds, Bradford, Walsall, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Hull, London, Newcastle, Bristol, Cardiff, Carlisle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Scotland and Wales etc. Revive IT Recycling were established after the government invented the WEEE regulations. Businesses were forced to use recycling companies who will re-use or refurbish IT Equipment and electrical waste. Revive IT can help you understand and comply with such new regulations. If you would like to have a chat about your current set up, please get in touch and quote ‘free computer recycling’. The service is actually free with only extras being chargeable such as data-wipe and collect, onsite data destruction (this is where an additional vehicle is sent out to you which has a destruction machine attached. This destruction tool can destroy any type of computer equipment).

We don’t use couriers to collect your IT equipment, we use our own vehicles which perform multiple collections at the same time. To ensure the IT equipment doesn’t get mixed up, each collection is given a unique colour circle sticker which ensures when it arrives back at our head office, nothing is mixed up. All the IT equipment collected from the free computer recycling service is split up into re-useable and non-reusable. The majority of the re-useable equipment includes desktop computers 8 years or newer.

Did you know, Revive IT crush all hard drives that are faulty and that are below 20GB. One thing you need to keep on track of is how much WEEE you are producing each year, because any site (unique postcode), not company is required to register a hazardous waste producer. We will let you know when you need to do this though.
